When There's No Wind In Your Willows

When there’s no wind in your willows,
And tears fall on your pillows,
Though long may be the night,
Do not give up your fight,
It’s time to walk by faith and not by sight.

For His joy is coming in the morning!

Even in the midst of life’s billows,
God is still faithful.
Don’t lose your song!
Don’t lose your music!
Don’t lose your victory and dance,
When there’s no wind in your willows.

For soon enough the wind will return,
Let God’s victory in your heart still burn,
Take the lessons of this valley that you learn,
And fly with on the wings of grace and grit
like the beautiful swallows.

Yes, friend, even in the midst of life’s billows,
God is still faithful.
Don’t lose your song!
Don’t lose your music!
Don’t lose your victory and dance,
When there’s no wind in your willows.

”1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept,
when we remembered Zion.

2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they
that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

Ps. 137:1-4
